How to Build an Athletic Diet

with Tara Garfield, Dietetic Intern

This session will provide a general overview of why, when, what and how much to eat before, during and after exercise to maximize your athletic potential. It will also provide information on how carbohydrates, protein and fats support athletic performance.

Tara Garfield is a graduate student in the Dietitian Nutritionist Program at the University of Pittsburgh. She is currently a dietetic intern at the JCC and UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside.
