Sports programs at the South Hills JCC

We are currently offering classes for our ECDC children. Growing Up Gritty with Coach Steve will teach kids a positive mindset through movement and skills that develop grit.  And Coach Medardo will be teaching the basics of soccer, including mobility and coordination.


We offer private basketball lessons for kids on Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturday and Sunday mornings with Coach Rico Abbondanza.

Two Day SCORE Basketball Clinic for Girls Grades 4 – 12 at the South Hills JCC!
With Rico Abbondanza & Dante Calabria
In this clinic you will work on skills and fundamentals, shooting and consistency, and improve your overall game.

Come play volleyball

with East Coast Power Allegheny South coaches and athletes in preparation for the ’21-’22 club volleyball season with our Fall Programming clinics and series!

Our fall programming is all about learning the game and shaking the dust off before tryouts!

Here’s a sneak peek at our programs we have:

  • Power Juniors – Beginner level, boys and girls, ages 7-14
  • Youth All-Skills Clinic Series – Beginner/intermediate level, boys and girls, grades 5 – 9
  • High School Skills Clinics – All talent levels, girls only, grades 9 – 12
  • Open Gyms – All talent levels, girls only, ages 12 – 18
    • Tryouts happening October 24th – November 14th depending on age group

Fall programming runs from August through November, so it’s not too late to sign up!

For Adults: We offer pickleball and open gym times.

Our full court gymnasium is well-maintained and open year-round. Our facilities also include a dance studio and access to sports fields.
