Sports programs at the South Hills JCC

South Hills Gym Schedule Winter 2023 as of 2.6.23

Pick Up Sessions

12-1:30 pm
1:30-3:00 pm

11:30-1 pm

$5/person, membership required. One court is available for up to 6 players. Passes must be purchased in advance for registration on MINDBODY.


Pickleball Lessons

We offer clinics for beginners and intermediate players, and privatelessons for one to four players.

Taught by Laurel Heilman, Certified Pickleball Professional (Profesional Pickleball Registry) and Certified Pickleball Instructor (International Pickleball Teaching Profesional Association). Laurel’s lessons include teaching the proper strokes, strategy, and the “HOW” “WHEN ” and most importantly the “WHY” of each skill needed to play pickleball.

$35/JCC member;
Clinics will be scheduled as needed. Please reserve a spot in the next clinic at the SH Front Desk, or call 412-278-1975

Private Lessons (one hour):
Must be paid in advance at the SH Front desk and will be scheduled at a time agreed upon by the player and coach.
1 player: $60/member; $65 non-member
2 players: $50/member; $55 non-member
3 players: $45/member; $50 non-member
4 players: $40 member; $45/non-member

For Adults: We offer pickleball and open gym times.

Our full court gymnasium is well-maintained and open year-round. Our facilities also include a dance studio and access to sports fields.
