Each summer, hundreds of campers enjoy extraordinary experiences of fun, friendship and learning at JCC day and overnight camps. JCC Camps support children and teens on a journey of self-discovery as they develop new skills and confidence.

At JCC Day and Overnight Camps, we provide experiences that prepare children and teens for life’s journeys through connections, values, growth and fun. Our camp experiences provide acres of outrageous fun, meaningful friendships and newfound confidence that last a lifetime. Be a part of our welcoming community and experience our skill-building, innovative programming, enthusiastic and caring staff, American Red Cross swim lessons, and so much more.

JCC Camp Programs

J&R’s traditional day camp, for children entering Kindergarten to grade 8, provides the opportunity for children to experience emotional growth and independence and gain self-confidence.

Located on a beautiful 100-acre site, J&R creates opportunities for each child to grow through adventurous, safe and fun experiences while becoming part of the inclusive, welcoming J&R Day Camp community.

After-camp care is available for all of our day camps. 

Transportation to and from Monroeville site, lunch and snacks provided. As always, the top priority for J&R Day Camp is the health and safety of our campers, staff and their families.

South Hills Day Camp is more than a place, it’s a feeling. Campers are encouraged by enthusiastic staff to explore new interests, cultivate skills and find new opportunities to engage, create and have fun.

When we think of camp we think of the Connections, Values, Growth, Fun, and the feeling of Family at South Hills Day Camp. Your child will grow in a caring community that encourages lasting relationships. With sports, aquatics, arts & crafts and nature, campers enjoy a well-rounded experience in a safe environment.

Camp Options

  • Traditional Day Camps or children entering K-grade 8.
  • Before and after-camp care is available.

Nestled on 200 acres along Cheat Lake near Morgantown, West Virginia, campers age 6-16 can enjoy exciting and challenging activities with our 3-4 -week sessions, 2 week session, or a 1-week session.

Take summer to the next level with our Specialty Camps! Designed for campers who want to dive deeper into their favorite activities, our specialty programs offer exciting, hands-on experiences led by expert instructors. Whether your child is an aspiring athlete, scientist, artist or adventurer, we have something for everyone!

Specialty Camps take place at the JCC in Squirrel Hill or at Family Park in Monroeville.

Campers focus on the things they love to learn and do.

  • SPORTS: From basketball to soccer, tennis to flag football, our sports camps build skills, teamwork and confidence in a fun and supportive environment.
  • STEM: Ignite curiosity with hands-on science experiments, filmmaking, engineering challenges, brain-teasing puzzles and more! These camps inspire creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving in a fun and engaging way.
  • CREATIVE ARTS: Whether it’s painting, drawing, cooking or dance, our arts camps help campers express themselves and explore their talents.
  • ADVENTURE & MORE: From outdoor adventures to magic and juggling, these camps provide unique experiences that keep summer exciting.
