Shabbat on the Terrace

Posted by Admin on November 13, 2015

Our youngest Squirrel Hill summer campers enjoy weekly Shabbat celebrations on the Terrace and often are joined by older adult residents from Weinberg Terrace.

Our Early Childhood Development Center Summer Camps provide a safe, structured environment with outdoor and indoor activities appropriate for each developmental
stage.

Your child will enjoy:
• Daily music and movement with our music teacher
• Building with a variety of materials and tools
• Arts & crafts with our art specialist
• Special programs from Carnegie Science Center, Children’s Museum, National Aviary and others
• Experiments with our nature and science specialist
• Large motor skill games in our gym facilitated by a JCC fitness specialist
• Israeli dancing and Shabbat
Activities are connected to weekly themes and special guests.
Camp K’Ton Ton: age 2 – We offer our youngest campers structured activities that support the
new-found freedoms of toddlers, including water play in wading pools in our enclosed inclusive playground.

Camp Yeladim: ages 3-5 – Children are introduced to the traditional JCC day camping experience, with field trips to local destinations and J&R camp. Campers have swim lessons
in our indoor training pool with Red Cross Water Safety instructors and hold flagpole group time in Levinson Courtyard.
