At the JCC of Greater Pittsburgh, our members are the heart of everything we do. You bring our community to life—whether it’s through fitness and wellness, cultural and educational programs, or the countless moments of connection that happen in our spaces every day. That’s why we have been thrilled to celebrate Membership Appreciation Week—a time dedicated to recognizing and thanking YOU for being part of our JCC family.
This week has allowed us to reflect on the values that unite our community. It’s about recognizing the friendships formed here, the personal milestones achieved, and the collective spirit that makes our JCC a welcoming home for all. Through special events, fun surprises and small tokens of our appreciation, we hope you feel how much you are valued. And our program and administrative staff really took things to a new level this week, volunteering for nearly 40 unique opportunities to engage with members through playing pool in the men’s health center, serving lunch to our older adult friends and neighbors, delivering snacks throughout our buildings, celebrating Tu’Bshvat, playing pickleball, leading bingo and even teaching a fitness class.
Our goal for this week is simple: that our members feel seen, appreciated and more connected than ever. Whether you’ve been with us for years or have just recently joined, know that you are an essential part of our story.
Thank you for choosing to be here. We are grateful for you, today and every day.
Wishing you and your families a Shabbat shalom,
Jason
