SQUIRREL HILL CENTERFIT PLATINUM

Our enhanced locker and spa facilities in Squirrel Hill provide a soothing and relaxing environment with state-of-the-art amenities that enable you to relax in comfort. With membership limited to ages 18 and older, Centerfit Platinum allows for more privacy and less crowding. There’s no need to worry about your towels, lock or getting a cup of coffee-we have it waiting for you.

Payment Policy

For your convenience, JCC accepts cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, Amex and Discover. Online registrations and contributions require payment by credit card. If preferred, online information may be printed and registrations and donations may be completed by mail with a personal check.

Please note that registrations are not complete and spots are not held until program fees or deposits are made. Prior to processing registration for any JCC activity, accounts are reviewed for outstanding balances. Registration cannot be processed until past-due balances are reconciled.

If registering by mail, please enclose your completed registration form with payment.

Payment Plans

For programs offering payment plans, or for arranged payment plans, a credit card must accompany the registration to secure the payment plan.

Service Fee

Please note that a $25 service fee will be assessed for all returned checks.

Pro-ration

When space is available, some classes and programs may be pro-rated for late starts. Please contact the Program Director or Camp Director to determine whether a pro-ration is possible.

Refunds

Please contact the program department for refund policies.

The JCC reserves the right to cancel a program due to insufficient enrollment. The JCC reserves the right to substitute qualified staff, whenever necessary, to ensure the class or program’s success. Refunds are not granted for staff changes.

Financial Assistance

Financial assistance consideration is available for many programs and services to families demonstrating need. All requests are handled confidentially. Please contact Jane Stokar at 412-697-3525 for more information.

Membership Policies:

  • The JCC is open and accessible to everyone, regardless of age, race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or special need by welcoming individuals of all backgrounds, embracing their uniqueness and diversity under our communal tent.
  • Membership is neither transferable nor refundable.
  • Members’ photos and/or comments may be used for publicity purposes without compensation or prior notification.
  • The JCC is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
  • The JCC encourages voluntary use of its facilities and exercise programs.
  • Individuals are responsible for monitoring their own condition at all times when engaging in activities at the JCC or in a JCC-sanctioned program either on or off JCC premises.
  • The JCC encourages everyone to receive a doctor’s evaluation and consent prior to participating in any physical activity.
  • The JCC is not liable for any medical conditions that occur on our premises.
  • The JCC does not assume responsibility for any risk associated with JCC members’ or guests’ presence, participation and/or use of JCC facilities or programs.
  • Participation in most JCC programs requires a current membership.
  • The JCC reserves the right to deny membership privileges for inappropriate conduct.
  • The JCC reserves the right to deny membership privileges for failure to keep your JCC account current.
  • Monthly dues are billed the first business day of the month.
  • Memberships paid in full will expire one year from purchase date.
  • Membership dues must be current to register for programs. Dues must be current throughout the length of registered programs.
    Delinquent balances must be paid in full or payment plan arrangements made before any new registrations are accepted.
  • If you pay by monthly credit/debit card, to avoid being assessed late fees, you must notify Membership Services when your card expires or is lost or stolen.
  • The JCC will notify you in writing regarding rate changes.
  • Annual memberships will receive notifications of renewal 30 days prior to renewal date.
  • Cancellation of your membership plan requires 30 days notice, a completed “Cancellation Request Form,” and last monthly payment collected.
  • Membership dues are non-refundable.

Photo Policy

The JCC may videotape or photograph participants enrolled in programs, classes and events or while enjoying JCC facilities. These are for JCC publications, flyers, publicity, brochures, web use, other electronic communications or video usage. All photos and videos are for JCC use and become the sole property of JCC. Please contact the Program Director for photographic exclusions.

Insurance and Medical Information

Some programs require that the JCC maintains participant medical information and treatment authorization forms on file. We respect the privacy of our participants and maintain confidentiality.

Security: Access Control Policy

Every person seeking entry to a JCC location must scan his or her card or identify themselves to JCC staff at the entry. Any person refusing to properly identify themselves at the entry point will not be allowed entry. Sign-in logs will be readily available to persons required to sign in.

Financial Assistance is available to those in need.

Financial Assistance is available to those in need who reside in the Pittsburgh, PA Metropolitan Area (MSA).

Scholarship Assistance is awarded based upon an assessment of each applicant’s financial situation and JCC Guidelines.  Adjusted Gross Income and family size are taken into account in determining eligibility and the amount of scholarship.
