Throughout the generations, four times a year, members of the Jewish community are invited to light a yizkor (memorial) candle in welcoming a holiday and in remembrance of those who are no longer with us. Rather than lighting that candle in your home by yourself, we invite you to join with Rabbi Symons, Spiritual Leader Sara Stock Mayo, 10.27 Healing Partnership Director Maggie Feinstein and guests in lighting those candles and hearing the melodies of remembrance as we remember and look ahead.
Shemini Atzeret/Simchat Torah
We are pleased to welcome our special guest Denele Hughson, Executive Director of Grow Pittsburgh, who will share her spiritual reflections on growing food in Pittsburgh.
