The JCC Center for Loving Kindness invites everyone in the community to celebrate the season by giving to refugee and immigrant families in need.
The event is free and open to all.
2 to 4 pm – Ostrow Palm Court: Baby supply collection plus crafts, multi-cultural snacks and music.
Collection includes:
- Diapers
- Blankets
- Winter clothing – new or gently used
- Bedding
- Toys
4-4:15 pm – JCC Entrance at 5738 Forbes: First Night of Chanukah Candle Lighting
On the first night of lighting the JCC’s refurbished Menorah, the Jewish community will be joined by Christian, Muslim and other neighbors as we all share wisdom about light.
Event is sponsored by JCC Center for Loving Kindness and Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom with partners Jewish Family and Community Service- Refugee Services and Somali Bantu Community Association.
