Join Allegheny County Department of Human Services Area Agency on Aging and AgeWell at the JCC to celebrate Older Americans Month.

The theme for this year is “Communities of Strength.” We will celebrate the strength of older adults, with special emphasis on the power of connection and engagement in building strong communities.

Learn from representatives in the community including:
• County Executive Richard Fitzgerald
• Kurt Emerling, Deputy Director of the Allegheny County Department of Human Services Area Agency on Aging
• Maggie Feinstein, Director of the 10.27 Healing Partnership, who will lead a discussion on resiliency and how this past year has impacted our community
• A representative from the Allegheny County Health Department who will provide an update on COVID-19 facts and figures, vaccine information and current health initiatives
• Madeline Barnes, Program Coordinator from AgeWell at the JCC, highlighting virtual programming and its impact over the past year and into the future.
