As a composer, conductor, educator and humanitarian, Leonard Bernstein shattered boundaries in his life and career. In 2018, performing arts organizations around the world are celebrating the 100th birthday of this iconic artist. From his controversial premier of Mass for the opening of the Kennedy Center to his bold statements about race in West Side Story, Bernstein has provoked us to think differently about the world. Repertoire includes: selections from Mass, West Side Story, Missa Brevis, Candide and others.
