Welcome Betsy Jaye, our new PJ Library Coordinator!

Betsy Jaye grew up in the South Hills of Pittsburgh before attending Penn State to major in History and Secondary Education. She completed her Master’s degree in teaching in Boston and has taught middle school English and Social Studies and worked as Director of Curriculum and Instruction in Boston, Philadelphia, and Camden. In 2021, she returned to Pittsburgh (this time to the North Hills!) and left the classroom to stay home with her daughter. In 2022, she became an ambassador for PJ Library and hosted monthly events all around the North Hills. She has enjoyed celebrating Jewish holidays and values and forming new friendships! Betsy is excited to be the PJ Library coordinator for Pittsburgh and continue this work all around the city!
