Please join us and bring your neighbors to this important discussion

FREE AND OPEN TO ALL

We are living in very challenging times. We have neighbors who are being ostracized based on ethnic and racial stereotypes that put them on edge and are not a part of the Pittsburgh we aspire to be.

We invite you to join us in a special evening discussing the many ways we can help immigrants, refugees, transplants and yinzers feel like they belong in Pittsburgh.

The evening will include opportunities to learn about and volunteer with organizations that support our values.

Our featured speakers will share their own stories and the stories of our neighbors from the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia.

  • Marian Lien – Governor’s Advisory Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs
  • Wasi Mohamed – Forward Cities
  • Benedict Killang – Union of African Communities, Allegheny County Department of Human Services
  • Monica Ruiz  – Casa San Jose
  • Feyisola Akintola – Welcoming Pittsburgh
  • Jeff Herzog – JFCS
  • Leslie Aizenman – JFCS Immigrant and Refugee Services
  • Rev. Liddy Barlow – CASP
  • Rabbi Ron Symons – Center for Loving Kindness
