The First Amendment for the 21st Century: A Conference in Squirrel Hill About Our Nation’s Tensions with Freedom of Religion
The Conference is sponsored by the Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh’s Center for Loving Kindness and is funded by The Pittsburgh Foundation.
The First Amendment for the 21st Century is one of a series created by The Pittsburgh Foundation to examine First Amendment issues “grounded in our deep concern about current threats to foundational freedoms that together constitute our democracy.” The conference will include speakers, panelists and a town hall meeting to address the issue of freedom of religion from a variety of perspectives.
