A demonstration of holiday lighting rituals will be followed by a roundtable discussion, led by Rabbi Ron Symons and Rev. Liddy Barlow. Including Tracy Baton, Pittsburgh Mennonite Church member; Rev. Canon Eric McIntosh of St. James Episcopal Church in Penn Hills; Rabbi Aaron Meyer of Temple Emanuel of the South Hills; Rev. Jane Thickstun of North Hills Unitarian Universalist Church; KS “Venkat” Venkataraman, Hindu community member; and The Rodman Street Missionary Baptist Church choir. Panelists will reflect on: What connections do we see across these traditions? How do these traditions inspire us to find hope and move toward acts of service and kindness? What inspiration can these traditions offer to our city at the ending of such a challenging year?
