Steel City Showdown
The JCC Steel City Showdown is On!
Race through the woods and clever obstacles at the JCC’s 100-acre Family Park in Monroeville! This race is designed to be fun for beginners and challenging for more experienced obstacle course racers. Come conquer the course – you can make it you vs. you, or you can come and play as a couple, a team of friends, family or coworkers for a team-building experience and some good laughs.

JCC Family Park • 261 Rosecrest Drive, Monroeville 15146
Adult (13+) Race
- Heats begin at 8 am. The 8 am heat will give you the opportunity to run on a fresh course.
- The course will be 3-4 miles through the fields and hilly forest of the JCC’s Henry Kaufmann Family Recreation Park.
General Info
- Please arrive 45 minutes prior to your wave start time
- Free parking is available on site
What to wear and bring if you are new to obstacle course racing:
- Sturdy, well-draining shoes
- Dri-Fit shirt (cotton is usually not a good idea)
- Long socks or tights
- Sunscreen
- Change of clothes
- Garbage bag for dirty clothes
