JCC State of Mind: August 15, 2025 – A Summer to Remember

From sunrise songs to evening’s rest, our campers truly lived their best summer yet. Whether at Emma Kaufmann Camp’s wooded shore, J&R Day Camp’s fields of laughter, South Hills Day Camp’s energy and play, or in the bright glow of Performing Arts Camp’s stage lights, each day was filled with joy and discovery. Our Specialty Camps added even more—unlocking new skills, sparking fresh passions, and broadening horizons.

This summer, the essence of JCC camping—connections, values, growth, and fun—came alive in every game, every performance, every swim lesson, every Shabbat celebration and every shared story. Friendships deepened, confidence soared, and countless memories were made—memories that will carry our campers through the seasons until next summer begins again.

But none of this could have been possible without the dedication and heart of our extraordinary staff. From seasoned counselors to first-year specialists, they sparked the magic, led with care, and created an environment where every child felt supported and inspired. Their creativity, patience, and passion made each camp day an opportunity for our campers to celebrate Jewish values and make each moment into something special.

The memories we’ve made are just the beginning. Next year is a blank canvas, ready to be painted with new friendships, new challenges, and new unforgettable moments together.

Thank you for being part of our JCC family and for trusting us to share in your children’s summer journeys. Here’s to the magic we created—and the magic still to come.

Wishing you and your families a Shabbat shalom,

Jason
