Getting Active at the JCC: We're Here to Help!

You’ve walked in and started your membership. You’ve gotten your swipe card, downloaded the app to see the schedules, made a promise to yourself that you are starting new healthy habits, and then you’ve gone to bed each night telling yourself that in the morning, you’re going to figure out how to actually Do The Thing.

I get it, I’ve been there.

I walked past the JCC, burning a hole in the sidewalk for way too long before I got up the courage to admit that I didn’t know how to activate myself, after activating my membership.

But that doesn’t have to be you any longer. The JCC recognizes that healthy habits come from more than intention. For some people, they require a helping hand to be accountable to, while others just need a lay of the land.

Whichever option calls to you, we have it. From complimentary Fitness Assessments and 3D body scans with personal trainers to show you how long it’ll take and the work it will require to reach your goals or Group Exercise consults with our fitness team to make a personalized schedule that meets your needs.

We care about our members, so during your first 90 days, we check in on you. We recognize that habits are formed in the beginning of your time with us, but more importantly, they are born from feelings of success and support.

If you are interested in learning more about our Group Exercise program, which includes classes like Yoga, Pilates, Spinning, HIIT, Bootcamp, Aqua Aerobics, Strength training, Cardio, Kickboxing and a full schedule of Silver Sneakers classes, reach out to our fitness team at [email protected] or request a Group Ex Consult in the JCC PGH app.

You don’t have to do it alone, after all, Community is our middle name.
