Shavout commemorates the anniversary of the day G-d gave the Torah to the entire Israelite nation assembled at Mount Sinai some 3,300 years ago.
This year, Shavuot begins on the evening of Thursday, May 28 and continues through Friday, May 29. (Please note: Beginning Thursday at 5 pm and on Friday, May 29, there will be no #JCCPGHVirtual LIVE classes.)
Traditionally individuals celebrate the holiday by engaging in learning. Everyone can participate!
