Choose one of the following project options:

Option #1: Weeding and mulching at The Christian Church of Wilkinsburg & cleaning out window wells at neighboring Mulberry Community Church
10–12 people needed. Bring gloves and tools for weeding. Mulch and bags for weeds are provided as well as some extra gloves and gardening tools.

Option #2: Painting at the Christian Church of Wilkinsburg
4–6 people needed to paint the outdoor accessibility ramp. Tools and paint are provided.

Option #3: Cleaning and sorting in the New-To-You store at the Christian Church of Wilkinsburg
4–6 people needed to sort donations, to clean the store in the Church and to clean a former classroom space. Bring extra gloves. All other supplies are provided.

Option #4: Painting 6-foot markers on the sidewalk outside the Wilkinsburg Food Pantry
2 people needed. Supplies are provided.

Option #5: Interior clearing and removal of furnishings for Civic Arts
6 people needed to work inside an old church to empty and clear the space. Bring work gloves. Must be 16 years old and older for this option.

Option #6: Victory Garden Prep at the Center for Civic Arts
5 people needed to prepare the land for a victory garden. Bring your own gardening tools.

All rules of physical distancing will be applied.

JCC standards for screening for temperature and symptoms will be used upon arrival.

We will provide light snacks and water

Bring the following items with you: Mask, sunscreen, closed-toe shoes (no sandals), hat, clothes to get dirty in, work gloves.

Projects are subject to weather. Please stay flexible as to your work assignment. We promise to give you meaningful work!
