JCC to Open Senior Center for 1:1 In Person Appointments
Effective February 15, 2021
For ages 60+
The JCC has been approved by Allegheny County, Department of Human Services, Area Agency on Aging to open the Senior Center portion of our services for 1:1 in person appointments.
WHEN: Beginning March 15, 2021, hours for appointments are:
Wednesdays: 12:30 – 3:30 pm
Fridays: 12-3 pm
WHERE: JCC, 5738 Forbes Avenue, Squirrel Hill
Appointments are mandatory. Entry Instructions will be given to participant after scheduling an appointment.
SERVICES PROVIDED FOR IN-PERSON APPOINTMENTS:
Information and Referral services will be provided in a private, disinfected office with our Information and Referral Specialist, Amy Gold, who will be available through remote zoom access. An AgeWell staff member will be available on site to assist participants by setting up the remote and confidential link.
New client registration for Senior Center Services will be available through an in-person AgeWell staff member who will help participants complete the necessary registration information. Once registered, new clients would be eligible for numerous services including Grab and Go Kosher Meals.

Additionally, AgeWell at the JCC will continue accepting Senior Center registrations by phone. Call Darlene Cridlin, LCSW @ 412-697-3517 and leave your name and phone number to begin the required registration. Calls will be returned within one business day to answer any questions and complete your enrollment.
NEW: ATTENTION ADULTS age 60+ AgeWell at the JCC is now accepting Senior Center registrations which will allow participation in the Meals to Go and Meals Delivered programs.
