Let’s show our loving kindness to our neighbors in Buffalo

JCC Squirrel Hill: 5738 Forbes Avenue | South Hills: 345 Kane Blvd., Scott

May 18, 2022 to May 20, 2022

Yet again, a racially motivated mass shooting reminds us how precious life is and how interconnected we are to our neighbors across the region.  According to media reports, the manifesto of the shooter in Buffalo also highlights the dark web that connects anti-black racism, antisemitism, replacement theory, and white supremacy.

It is time to show more loving kindness. Please come to the JCC branches in Squirrel Hill and South Hills to write a message of hope, connectedness, and loving kindness to our neighbors in Buffalo. We will deliver the signed banners to houses of worship and/or community organizations that are feeling the pain of loss.

Banner signing at both JCC branches:
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday May 18, 19 and 20.

You do not have to be a JCC member to participate, and there’s no need to RSVP or make a timed appointment. Please see our vaccination guidelines below.
