Join JCC American Jewish Museum Director, Melissa Hiller, and Center for Loving Kindness Director, Rabbi Ron Symons, for this four-session exploration of values and lessons of August Wilson’s Pittsburgh that resonate today.
The class will include conversations with experts and artists involved in the American Jewish Museum’s exhibition, Art for August, on view at the American Jewish Museum December 20, 2021 – January 30, 2022.
The exhibition presents the work of 10 artists included in the traveling exhibition, Art for August, whose work explores Wilson’s enduring influence and his complex love-hate relationship to Pittsburgh.
