Early Childhood

It All Starts Here

Young children are active participants in JCC life. Our Early Childhood Development Centers in Squirrel Hill and the South Hills provide enriched early education and child care programs for children from infancy to five years old. Families with young children can find activities and community through our My Baby and Me and PJ Library programming in Squirrel Hill and in the South Hills. We also offer Shortstop Babysitting at both locations to enable parents to work out, knowing their child is in a safe, nurturing environment.

"Creativity becomes more visible when adults try to be more attentive to the cognitive process of children than to the results they achieve in various fields of doing and understanding."
