Fun Programs

So Much to Do!

We have so much fun (and learning) at the JCC!
In Squirrel Hill, our J Sundays programs including Sunday Sampler and Sunday Fun Day provide enrichment and a chance to try something new. Special one-time programs can range from Froyo (Frozen-inspired yoga) to Super Science to Master Chefs, and more.

In the South Hills, kids and families celebrate the facility’s birthday every January and participate in community holiday events geared towards absolute fun. The South Hills’s “backyard” and access to neighboring Scott Conservancy provides great settings for cookouts and gatherings.

New Programs

Kids Klub: K-grade 6

Join us as we kick off an exciting new
JCC youth group for school-aged kids
with monthly programs and fi eld trips.
Those that join for a year will receive
priority and discounted registration, a
T-shirt, and more.
Kids Klub Ambassadors will help plan
events, participate in short teambuilding
activities, recruit and help
tailor the Kids Klub experience for all
participants. If your child is in grades
2-6 and would like to sign up to be a
Kids Klub Ambassador, please contact
Meredith Brown.

TOSS (Tikkun Olam Super
Stars): grades 3-6

Tikkun Olan Super Stars is designed
for altruistic, community-minded
children who are looking to improve
the Greater Pittsburgh area while
earning community service hours for
school. Based on tikkun olam, the Jewish
concept of repairing the world, TOSS
participants will engage in monthly
service-learning programs that teach
the value and meaning of giving back
to the community. Programs include
volunteering for community events,
food banks and charities.
