DAY CAMPS

Fun, friendship and learning go hand-in-hand at JCC day camps. The JCC uses the Squirrel Hill and South Hills facilities as well as the 100-acre grounds at our Henry Kaufmann Family Recreation Park in Monroeville. Children enjoy new, creative and challenging experiences in supervised settings. Days are filled with arts & crafts, swimming, sports and games, special events, cookouts, Jewish discovery, and most importantly, lots of fun! There's even a special Performing Arts Camp that culminates in a musical theater production.


James & Rachel Levinson Day Camp

at our wooded Family Park campus in Monroeville, offers children age 3 to grade 5 the summer of a lifetime.

day camps provide a safe and structured environment with a balance of indoor and outdoor activities, including swimming, music, arts & crafts, physical activities in the gym, reading, cookouts, and outdoor playground fun. Noar/Bogrim Travel Camps

, for middle school students in grades 6-9, offer a new adventure every day. Campers visit favorite local attractions like amusement and water parks, and enjoy a 5-day getaway to another city. X-Camps exclusively explore an interest for one week. They include basketball, swimming science, soccer, art, computers, roller hockey, photography, baseball, dance, golf and travel and more.

OVERNIGHT CAMP

Emma Kaufmann Camp is nestled on 200 acres along Cheat Lake just outside Morgantown, West Virginia. Campers range in age from 8 to 16, and enjoy 7-, 4- or 3-week sessions in addition to a 1-week option for First Experience or Specialty Camps. With a varied and diverse program, challenge and excitement are always in great supply at EKC. Campers enjoy outdoor adventure at the ropes course and climbing tower; participate in a slew of sports activities including horseback riding, mountain and BMX biking and roller-blading; cool off by swimming, water skiing, canoeing, knee boarding, tubing, sailing and kayaking; and create works of art in the arts & crafts and drama workshops. Camp is where Jewish identities are built, with Shabbat celebrations and an emphasis on Jewish living. Most important are the lasting friendships and memories your child will make.

Regular sessions: Campers in grades 3-10 spend three, four or seven weeks enjoying EKC facilities and programs.

First Experience: First-time campers in grades 2-5 can sample overnight camp during a one-week session at the end of the summer. Specialty Camps: Geared to children who have previously attended camp, specialty camps provide a one-week in-depth experience in land sports, crafts, outdoor adventure, horseback riding and water skiing.
