One of the earliest, most enduring and most important programs of the JCC has been summer camps, formed to provide open-air recreation and respite from the industrial pollution of Pittsburgh. This century-old tradition continues today with the JCC offering enriching day and overnight camping experiences and activities for children and teens of all backgrounds, religious affiliation and abilities, and providing scholarship assistance to those in need. Journey to Prague & BudapestOctober 8-17, 2010 • Trip DetailsFor Adults of All Ages • Pre-Tour Option to Poland: October 5-8 Prague is often touted as one of the most beautiful cities in all of Europe. Its well-preserved showcase of history along with its location along the riverside enhanced by graceful bridges and extravagant, fairy-tale like architecture make Prague notable. Budapest, lying on both banks of the Danube River, unites the hills of Buda and the wide boulevards of Pest. It is a memorable city inhabited by Hungarians who are known for their hospitality and a deep love of music. Wherever you go you will hear it, whether it is an opera performed at the Hungarian State Opera House or simply Gypsy violinists serenading us at dinner.
