Class Descritions:
20/20/20: 20 minutes each of; Bench, Strength and "On
the Ball."
AEROBIC PUMP: An upbeat low-impact workout that focuses
on muscular and aerobic strength & endurance.
BENCH PLUS: A full hour of energizing step combined with strength training, resist-a-ball and more.
BOOT CAMP: An intense, high paced, training regimen that
builds strength and caridac endurance.
CARDIO BLAST: A high energy, fast-paced workout that
builds strength and cardiac endurance.
FIRST STEP BENCH: Take the first step toward total body conditioning and cardiovascular fitness. One-on-one instruction. Call Patti at ext. 273.
GROUP POWER: Sixty-minute barbell program that
strengthens all your major muscles in an inspiring, motivating group
environment with simple athletic moves such as squats, lunges, presses
and curls. For all ages and fitness levels.
INTERVAL BENCH: High-intensity bench or aerobics
alternating with intense muscle toning segments. An advanced and
challenging workout.
POWER BENCH: High-intensity bench for people with previous experience.
LITE AND LO: A class designed to meet the needs of all
fitness levels - a low-impact work-out with minimal stress to joints
followed by a weight and abdominal work-out.
MORNING RECHARGE: Recharge your batteries for the rest
of the day with a dynamic range of exercises. Class begins at a
comfortable pace but gradually picks up speed.
MUSCLE WORKS: A comprehensive body-shaping class in
which all major muscle groups are trained for strength, toning, and
flexibility plus a basic cardio segment - great for all levels.
PILATES: Improve strength, flexibility, coordination and
posture, creating a body that is long and lean, with flat abdominals
and a strong back.
GROUP POWER 101: Learn the basics, get some one-on-one attention, perfect your form, see results (second Thursday of every month).
SENIOR AEROBICS: An exciting, upbeat aerobics class for
older adults. Class consists of low-impact aerobics, stretches and
toning exercises for legs, arms and waist.
SPINNING: A cardiovascular workout performed to music on
a specially designed stationary bike. A challenge for the body - a ride
for the mind.
TOTAL BODY: Enhance muscluar strength, range of
movement, balance and stability using varios pieces of equipment.
TURBO KICK: The ultimate cardiovascular challenge complete with a sport-specific warm-up; intense intervals, easy-to-follow combinations, kickboxing-specific strength/endurance training and T'ai Chi-like cool down.
YOGA: Learn the essence of relaxation through stretches,
postures and improved breathing techniques. This is more than just a
class that improves strength and flexibility. It is an idea and process
that you can take and do anywhere.
POWER YOGA: An invigorating practice of yoga in which the poses flow with a controlled meditative breath. The focus is on full body movements for strength and balance aiming toward a clear and relaxed mind (intermediate to advanced).
ZUMBA: Dance your way to a fitter you with exciting and
unique Latin moves and rhythms.
