Infant and child care, preschool and summer camp for little onesThe JCC is the place for young children and their families. We provide infant and child care, preschool and enrichment classes, summer camps, a place for families to play and learn together, and babysitting.EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT CENTERSThe JCC's Early Childhood Development Centers in Squirrel Hill and in the South Hills are a "home away from home" serving children 6 weeks to 5 years old. We offer age-appropriate programs in a safe, secure environment with caring, emotionally supportive adults. We lay the foundation for Jewish children to develop a strong Jewish identity through programs that are infused with Jewish values, culture and traditions. At the same time, we encourage all children to appreciate diversity, fostering an environment that promotes acceptance and a sense of belonging.FAMILY PLACEThese special child-friendly rooms in both the Squirrel Hill and South Hills facilities are filled with toys and books. Parents with newborns up to age 3 make new friends as they enjoy playtime, story time, art activities, Kabbalat Shabbat, Mommy, Daddy & Me, music, and more.Family Place: JCC-Squirrel Hill Family Place: JCC-South Hills CLASSESArt, Music, Hebrew, Movement, Sports, Fitness and Swimming classes are offered for age- and skill-appropriate levels. Complimentary Babysitting - Monday through Thursday, 6-8 p.m. for group exercise participants only. CAMPJCC- Squirrel HillEarly Childhood day camps provide a safe and structured environment with a balance of indoor and outdoor activities, including swimming, music, arts & crafts, physical activities in the gym, reading, cookouts, and outdoor playground fun.
