    • May 5 - Honoring Holocaust Victims-View and discuss the film "Paper Clips". This is a moving documentary chronicling a rural Tennessee middle school's unique class project of finding a meaningful way to honor Holocaust victims.
    • May 12 - Are You in the Driver's Seat? A presentation by Andrea Fox, MD, MPH, Director of the Squirrel Hill Medical Center.
    • May 19 - Schmooze with Pittsburgh's Shaliach! Join us for an Israel Independence Day afternoon and learn about Israel and Maymon Pe'er's work in Pittsburgh.
    • May 26 - JCC Closed for Memorial Day

    Maestro Everly and the PSO take a spin on the musical roulette wheel with classics such as "Luck Be a Lady," "Hey Big Spender," "Viva Las Vegas," "The Lady is a Tramp," and many more.

    Judaics and Discussion

    • JCC Choral Group: Open to JCC members who like to sing. The group performs in the community as a mitzvah. Thursdays, 10 am.
    • Hebrew Literature: Readings from a variety of Hebrew periodicals with Dave Dinkin, Tuesdays, 10-11 am.
    • Yiddish Conversation: Join group leader Mary Marks and improve your Yiddish skills. Share jokes, stories and camaraderie. Tuesdays, 10-11 am.
    • Current Events: Stimulating discussions on politics, both domestic and international. Fridays, 10-11 am and 11 am-noon.
    • Israeli Folk Dancing: Cherie Maharam leads a class for beginners and then a dance-by-request session .Thursdays, 7:30 pm, $3 suggested donation.

    SUPPORT GROUPS

    There are no fees for support groups. Meetings are held at the JCC Squirrel Hill.

    • Loren R. Hirsch Memorial Bereavement Program. Facilitation provided by Forbes Hospice. The Loren R. Hirsch Memorial Bereavement Endowment Program Fund is supported in part by Ruth and Burton L. Hirsch.
    • Bereavement for Adult Children, third Wednesday of each month, 7-8:30 pm
    • Stroke Survivors, call (412) 422-0415. Interact with a support group led by Kathy Krause. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 am-2 pm.
